My Approach

I offer integrative therapy for individuals, couples, and adult families. Using a systemic-relational approach, I pay special attention to how families, institutions, and cultures shape us. I recognize the agency and insight that all people have into themselves and their relationships, and strive to illuminate together those parts that have been left unturned and uncared for. Ultimately, I believe in the transformative power of relationships, including therapeutic relationships, to return us to ourselves and widen our horizons of meaning.

My Experience

I hold a Masters of Psychotherapy degree from the Relational and Psychotherapy Training Program at the University of Guelph. My clinical training involved three practicums, where I had the privilege to support clients in discovering themselves, exploring their histories, and clarifying their values. I also hold an MA in Critical Disability Studies, as well as a BA in Philosophy. Through my work with people on the margins, and people alienated from our increasingly corporatized world, I learned to integrate my philosophical training into my therapeutic approach. My inter-disciplinary training underpins my integrative, curious, and anti-oppressive stance.

In addition, my work is informed by my experiences as an activist, actor, and improviser.
